A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from 35 year old vines.

With a good aging potential, "La Charmille" is an authentic wine, generous, concentrated, fruity and of great finesse.  This wine starts to show its best when it is 3 years old and its power becomes balanced with refinement.  Its tannic structure allows to continue to develop for a further 5 to 10 years.

Well respected in the domestic market in France it is known as a wine that offers excellent value.  Honoured in the top 10 Côtes de Bordeaux by Decanter.
