Donatien Bahuaud “LES BOIRES” CHINON AOP showcases plot selects of Cabernet Franc. For Donatien Bahuaud, “vinification alone is not enough to create unique wines”. “AGEING” IS THE KEY WORD OF DONATIEN BAHUAUD.

“Les Boires” benefits from 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new and 80% aged from 2 to 4 years. Then 4 months in thermo-regulated stainless-steel vats allows the robust structure of this wine to integrate gently with its tannins.

Six months in bottle deep in their cellars completes this work of fine balance to reveal the plenitude of the fruity aromas of this Cabernet Franc.
